1. June event is an Edisto River canoe trip 6/12-13 with one night of camping at Givhan's State
Park. Leave scout hut Sat morning and return Sunday afternoon.
2. Mr. Hills will set up a cycling maintenance class for the cycling MB. He will also plan some bike trips.
Problem Areas
1. Mr. Dunn discussed improper conduct at the last Courrt of Honor and at campouts. Some scouts were misbehaving in the church sanctuary. This is not how a scout is reverent. On campouts scouts tried to do improper skits (bad topics), talked about subjects that are not demonstrating a scout is morally straight and clean. There was horsing around during canoe training. This behavior will not be tolerated.

Scout Meeting Plans
1. ASM Brooks will start Citizenship in the Nation merit badge in May. Date & time to be determined.
2. On 4/26 the troop will go to Tibwin for the Forestry merit badge. Departure from the Scout hut at 5:30 p.m. Board of Reviews will be conducted at the Scout hut.
3. On 5/10 Michael Hall will be teaching leadership. An Ultimate Frisbee game will follow the training. Each member of the PLC should review their job requirements to ensure they are doing their job.
4. On 5/17 the younger Scouts will complete their physical fitness Tenderfoot requirements. The troop will work on an A-frame leadership activity.
5. NO meeting on 5/31 due to Memorial Day.
6. COH on May 3rd.
Activities
1. The May event is canoe training and canoe merit badge at Camp Moultrie from May 21-23. It IS REQUIRED for any Scout who DOES NOT have the merit badge and wants to go on the June canoe trip. It is OPTIONAL for those who have the merit badge. Older scouts are needed to help with the canoe training.
2.An older scout event is scheduled for this weekend, a cycling campout with a 50 mile cycling trip. The Saturday night cook is to be determined; it will probably be Mr. Dunn. Departure is at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
